This was Kilmeen's All-Ireland winning play in 1989. This two-voice, one act play was written by Geraldine Aron.
A WHISTLE IN THE DARK
Written by Tom Murphy, this play won the first of Kilmeen's 3-in-a-row All-Irelands in 2011.
THE WEIR
This play earned Kilmeen a two-in-a-row All-Ireland win.
THE PLAYBOY OF THE WESTERN WORLD by J.M. SYNGE
This classic - and at one time, controversial - play, set in the early 1900's in Co. Mayo, earned Kilmeen Drama Group thier historic three-in-a-row All-Ireland Final Win in 2013. Since then, Kilmeen have performed it in The Abbey Theatre in Dublin, in the open air at Inchydoney, and have taken it on tour in the USA. This has been Kilmeen Drama Group's greatest achievement to date, and sets the benchmark for all our future productions.
